Wyndmoor is another cute little suburb of under 6,000 people located in Springfield Township, Montgomery County and is ranked as the 21st most desirable place to live in Pennsylvania by AreaVibes. There are a number of great amenities in Wyndmoor for such a small town including a large golf and country club and a number of restaurants but sadly, no library. The crime rate in Wyndmoor is very low indeed with an average crime rate that is 69 percent lower than the Pennsylvanian state average. The schools are known to be good in the area with a high school graduation rate 11 percent higher than average and house prices, although steep at 80 percent higher than the state average, are certainly not the highest in the state. Wyndmoor has a number of historic points of interest including the Stotesbury Club House and John Welsh House and is well known for its admirable volunteer firefighters, the Wyndmoor Hose Company No.1, established in 1906.
