4) Malibu, California
A little more laid back than many beaches in Los Angeles County, Malibu is a quaint little community of just over 12,000 people. Here you’ll get the opportunity to take in sweeping views of the Pacific and unique experiences not found at other beaches in the area. One of those would be visiting one of the Malibu tide pools. If you visit during low tide, you’ll be lucky enough to see the large rock formations open up and sea creatures like crabs, urchins and starfish fill the low water and surrounding land. If you’re visiting Malibu for the beach itself, you’ll find a number of paddle boarders, sun-worshipers and surfers dotting the coastline. It’s a great Southern California experience for all who visit.
