Berlin may not be at the top of your list of places to visit in Europe but it should be. It is fast becoming recognized for its culinary offerings, fashion trends, museums and club scene. What was once a communist country is now an ever-growing cosmopolitan city with a lot to offer. The city consists of many expats who have discovered just how promising Berlin is. Sitting at a street side café is the norm in Berlin as it offers a great way to people watch and see all of the various nationalities now calling Berlin, home.
You will be able to find deals everywhere you look, from accommodations to clubs. This is especially helpful to young people exploring and trekking through Europe. There is an eclectic bar scene and plenty of upscale and interesting galleries. If you visit Berlin and decide to go clubbing, admission fees are generally less expensive in East Berlin.
