7) Fair Haven Beach State Park
For people who enjoy camping in nature during the summer, Fair Haven Beach State Park offers great opportunities to do so. Additionally, if you want to spend the night but would rather not bring along a trailer, you can rent a cottage equipped with kitchen appliances, a shower, furniture, and more. The park has a couple of beaches where you can spend time in the sun, as well as offering great views of Lake Ontario. If you would like to spend some time on the water, you can have fun renting a kayak or going fishing. Alternatively, you can always bike or hike through the various park trails to experience the area from on land. Overall, the park is known for being a particularly attractive place to spend some time in upstate New York.
