Only available to members and their guests. Isn’t it always beneficial to know someone? With annual dues averaging around $2,000 for an individual golf membership, it will be well worth the money! Nonetheless, the initiation fee averages around $40,000… OUCH!!! So, what distinguishes Augusta National Golf Club from the rest? Let’s find out!! Augusta National is a “invitation-only” club, with notable members including billionaires Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. This course’s design and beauty are spectacular! Treacherous greens and 5-star upkeep are just the beginning. The three courses’ greens are one of a kind.

Cypress Point ClubPebble Beach, California

Cypress Point golf course is considered “ultra-private”. Every day, only 30 people play on the course. Members come from all over the world, and there are only about 250 in total. Cypress Point Club has hosted celebrities such as Bob Hope, Arnold Palmer, and Bing Crosby over the years. This club is not for the average Joe, with a $250,000 initiation fee and annual dues of $15,600.

The 18-hole Cypress Point Golf Club is located at the northern end of the Central Coast. Views of sea lions and ocean birds can be had while walking between the 14th and 15th tees!!The layout and views of the ocean will keep you coming back for more. Cypress Point Club offers caddies, a driving range, golf pros to help your game, a pro shop, along with a bar and restaurant for all members and guests.

Pinehurst Golf ResortPinehurst, North Carolina

Pinehurst Resort is home to one of the world’s most renowned golf courses. The United States Open and Women’s Open Championships will be held in 2014 and 2024, respectively. Pinehurst Golf Resort is open to the general public as well as member golf professionals. Guests will be spoilt for choice with nine 18-hole breathtaking golf courses! This course is not expensive, with a round costing around $165 on average. Only a few hours from the beach and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Check out Pinehurst No. 2 if you’re looking for a challenge. No. 2 is the most difficult in terms of design, with turtle-back greens that will test the best players. Pinehurst No. 2 is the only course that has hosted all five events, including the U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Women’s Amateur, and U.S. Senior Open. Experts recommend visiting Pinehurst in early March, to avoid higher rates.

It is named after “its sharp points that run along the edges of its leaves”. This resort, located on a Marriott property, has a variety of rooms to choose from. On the property, there are four sparkling pools and a spa.
