4. Limit the Alcohol
You also do not need to completely cut out alcohol on vacation to avoid gaining weight. In moderation, alcohol can be a fun treat for you to unwind with. Try to limit the number of alcoholic drinks you have by alternating them with water or other non-alcoholic drinks. This gives your body some time to adjust between drinks and avoids excess calorie intake from alcoholic beverages. Before you go on vacation, have a mental plan for alcohol consumption during your trip and keep your focus on it. Consider telling your vacation partner your plan so he or she can help you stay on target.
